Episode Notes

Of all the New Testament writings, Revelation is the most difficult to interpret. Scholars differ about the exact meaning of some of the most important passages in the book. But its basic purpose remains clear: to reveal The Christ as Lord, triumphant over evil. Written by the aged disciple John while a prisoner on the Island of Patmos around A.D. 95, Revelation has been a source of comfort and inspiration to Hebrews of every generation.
